Drifting is a new sport catching up in the U.S. The cars fly by in a sideways motion as they blast through the tracks, not really matter who gets first to the finish but the main point of it is who does it with more style. Formula D , is one of the main even coordinators and organizers within the U.S, they are trying to get this sport going and definitely they are doing a good job. Drifting requires a lot of skill and control over a vehicle.
