Well, if you are starting on the sport you probably want to go with something inexpensive and with a lot of potential. Probably the most recommended car to start drifting would be the Nissan 240SX , this car will provide you with a good experience before you actually go ahead and buy something a little more special and powerfull. Keep in mind this car if you are planning to drift.

The 240sx is a good beginner car, but anything with a rear wheel drive front engine setup and a decent wheel base will do. Going after power is the most common mistake in drifting. That power is pointless if you don’t have the ability to put it down to the pavement. Concentrate on suspension and you can enhance performance as you become comfortable going sideways. IMHO.
