The 240sx is a good beginner car, but anything with a rear wheel drive front engine setup and a decent wheel base will do. Going after power is the most common mistake in drifting. That power is pointless if you don't have the ability to put it down to the pavement. Concentrate on suspension and you can enhance performance as you become comfortable going sideways. IMHO.
